Manchester United Women goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce has won the dressing-room vote to be crowned Players’ Player of the Year for 2024/25.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed an exceptional season in between the sticks for the Reds, playing a pivotal role in our third-place WSL finish and run to the Adobe Women’s FA Cup final.

Tullis-Joyce, who succeeded Mary Earps as the club’s first-choice keeper in the summer, has been ever-present in the league, keeping 13 clean sheets across 22 games and conceding just 16 goals.

That record was enough to earn her a share of the Golden Glove award with Chelsea stopper Hannah Hampton, although Tullis-Joyce did edge out the England international when it came to inclusion in the WSL Team of the Season.

Our excellent goalkeeper kept the WSL's joint-most clean sheets this season.

Our no.91 was picked in the top-flight dream team alongside team-mates Maya Le Tissier and Grace Clinton, after helping the Reds to only a second-ever European qualification spot.

As if that wasn’t enough, Tullis-Joyce was also given a deserved first international cap in April, as she featured in the United States’ 2-0 friendly win over Brazil.

Phallon has swiftly established herself as a key member of the squad and her peers clearly agree – they’ve made her the fifth different winner of the Players’ Player prize since it was established in 2021.

Alessia Russo and Hannah Blundell were the first two recipients, while Maya Le Tissier and Ella Toone shared the accolade last season.

Well done Phallon on your win!
