Who was voted Man of the Match against Wolves?

Four Manchester United players dominated the Man of the Match vote following our 1-0 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was a tight and tense affair at Old Trafford, as the Reds grabbed an injury-time winner against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men to move second in the table at the end of the 2020.

Marcus Rashford - a man who has had a busier calendar year than most - netted the decisive strike of a freezing night at the Theatre of Dreams.

But at the other end, the Reds goalkeeper also had to be in inspired form to ensure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men took all three points.

See the best bits from the dramatic victory, including Rashford's stoppage-time winner.

David De Gea pulled off several saves, the best of which was to deny Romain Saiss following a header from a corner in the first half.

The Spaniard also made a smart stop to prevent Ruben Neves in the opening period and pushed a powerful Rayan Ait-Nouri strike clear of the goal as we crept towards full-time.

Ahead of him, Eric Bailly put in another assured performance, following on from his solid display against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Ivory Coast centre-back produced a potentially goal-saving challenge to stop Adama Traore from powering through on goal after a pass from Pedro Neto, and had to be at his very best to deny the lively duo on Tuesday night.
When it comes to Man of the Match votes, Bruno Fernandes is rarely far from the top of the chart, as was the case against Wolves. The Portuguese playmaker played the long pass in injury time that ultimately ended with Rashford’s goal, while he also linked our attack and midfield during the night.

Bruno did come close to breaking the deadlock in the first half, but his fellow countryman Rui Patricio pulled off a smart save to deny our no.18.

Marcus is the last of our quartet near the top of the poll. While the striker’s late winner did have a large slice of fortune, his pace and trickery meant the Wolves backline were reluctant to put in a challenge on our no.10.
The England international switched from the left and right flank on a number of occasions throughout the night and a Rashford winner is the perfect end to 2020 for the Reds.

And it was the man from Wythenshawe who gleaned the highest per cent of the Man of the Match poll in our Official App.

The Academy graduate earned 39 per cent of the vote, more than double that received by second-placed Fernandes (19%). De Gea was third with 16 per cent, while Bailly received a 10th of the nominations in our post-match poll.
