Pundit Predictions: Who starts against Everton?
Manchester United’s return to Premier League action is fast approaching after the November international break, with Monday night’s visit of Everton to Old Trafford.
There’s still time, however, for you to have your say on how you think the 20:00 GMT kick-off will unfold, by playing the official United Predictions game in our app.
It’s free to play and the idea is simple: attempt to correctly predict United’s line-up, first scorer and Man of the Match, along with the final score, for a chance to win some big prizes.
Ahead of appearing as pundits on MUTV’s Match Day Live coverage – which is due to start at 18:30 GMT and feature 90 minutes of exclusive build-up before live radio commentary – former Reds Wes Brown and Danny Webber have made their picks.
We know that there will be at least one change to the United team that started last time out in the 2-2 draw at Spurs, before the international break, as the injury Harry Maguire picked up that day will prevent him from keeping his place at the heart of Ruben Amorim’s three-man defence.
Brown thinks that Leny Yoro, fresh from turning 20 during the international window, will replace Maguire, while Webber predicts that Noussair Mazraoui will move into the backline from wing-back, with Diogo Dalot to fill the vacant wide position.
The ex-Reds also expect Mason Mount to come into the midfield, United to win by two goals and there to be a star showing from one of our exciting summer recruits. Take a look at their predictions – not as similar as they may seem – below…
