Premier League amend two United fixtures for TV

The Premier League has released the first batch of broadcast selections for 2020/21 and both of Manchester United’s fixtures in September have been chosen for television.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will begin the new season against Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday 19 September and our anticipated opener will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports, with kick-off set for 17:30 BST. 

The Reds will return to action a week later with an away match against Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion, on Saturday 26 September, and that 12:30 BST kick-off will be broadcast live in the UK on BT Sport. Both of those games were originally scheduled for 15:00 BST starts on the same dates. 

Remember, the new Premier League campaign starts on the weekend commencing 12 September, but United will not be involved due to the club’s extended involvement in the Europa League. The full provisional fixture list was released on 20 August and can be seen below…

Please note that, while the 2020/21 Premier League fixtures are out now, unfortunately we are unable to go on sale with match tickets or Matchday VIP Experience packages. We are working with the Premier League and relevant authorities to welcome fans back to Old Trafford when it is safe to do so and we will communicate the plans for this as soon as this information is confirmed. The club will also communicate directly with Season Ticket holders and Executive Club members at the appropriate time regarding renewal and attendance at home fixtures.

As and when we can make standard match tickets available to supporters, they will be sold exclusively to Official Members – join now and be first to know when tickets go on sale.
