Hojlund: He calls himself agent Eriksen!
Rasmus Hojlund has shared details of how Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen introduced the idea of him signing for the Reds.
Both players are representatives of the Danish national team, with Rasmus having scored six goals in six games for the Scandinavians since making his debut back in September 2022.
Christian has represented his country 122 times, including at the World Cup and European Championship, and the 31-year-old has been across our newest recruit's progress prior to his move to M16.

“We speak a little [already]. He called himself Agent Christian in the national team!” said Rasmus, when asked if Christian had convinced him to sign.
“It was quite funny because we spoke a little bit about the club already and he knew I was a United fan back then, so we spoke a little bit about it.
“He also helped me in the beginning here, showing me around Carrington today. Yeah, he’s a good guy.”
It's no surprise that another famous United Dane, in former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, popped into the conversation too.
The now 59-year-old famously won the Treble with United back in 1999 and Rasmus also conversed with Peter before this summer's move to the north-west.

“Yeah, he's great. He’s a legend of the game in Denmark,” Rasmus added.
“[He's] The best goalkeeper we’ve had in the history of the Danish national team so you cannot run away from it and a Treble winner.
“I’ve also spoken to him a few times about Manchester. And he’s a good guy. Everybody knows how he is. He’s a tough guy, but he’s a good guy.”
