Real Sociedad announce travelling squad

Real Sociedad have named their travelling squad for Thursday's Europa League Group E game with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Imanol Alguacil will have 24 players at his disposal for the game, which kicks off at 20:00 BST.

Defender Robin Le Normand is out injured, with the Basque outfit releasing an update on Monday stating he will undergo treatment for a metatarsal injury.

Talismanic winger Mikel Oyarzabal, who has often captained the side in recent years, is a long-term absentee having ruptured his cruciate ligaments in March.

Former Manchester City winger David Silva is among the travelling party as he returns to the city, while Mikel Merino and Alexander Sorloth also boast experience of English football, from respective spells with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

Umar Sadiq, bought as a replacement for Alexander Isak - who has joined Newcastle - scored on his debut against Atletico Madrid at the weekend and is expected to start up front.
