Amorim confirms squad for post-season tour of Asia
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed which players will travel on the club’s post-season tour of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong later this month.
The squad’s two-match visit, presented by Snapdragon and arranged by ProEvents, marks the first post-season tour in the modern era of the club.
These fixtures provide a unique opportunity to connect directly with our fans in Asia, and for the club to activate with its valued commercial partners in the region.

“I was consulted,” Amorim explained to journalists. “We cannot say nothing after this season, so we need to help the club because the club wins some more money.
“We are going to connect with our fans around the world and that is important, especially when we lose and we disappoint our supporters during this tough season.
“So, I think it is the least we can do. And we are going to take all the team, the young kids also, and we'll have the staff there. We had a lot of changes in the staff so we're trying to build something as a family. I think it is also a good thing.”
Asked if he will take all of the senior players as well, Ruben said: “Yes, yes.”
Omar Berrada, Chief Executive Officer at Manchester United, has also expressed his excitement towards the trip and underlined the importance of engaging our international fanbase.
In a statement that announced the tour in April, Berrada said: “We appreciate the amazing level of support that Manchester United enjoys around the world and this summer we are delighted to deliver a schedule that provides our fans in Asia, Scandinavia and the United States the opportunity to connect with the club and watch the men’s first team play live in local settings.
“Importantly, Tour fixtures drive significant additional revenue which help make the club stronger, allowing us to keep investing in success on the pitch.
“They also create unique opportunities for us to collaborate with our valued commercial partners, and to deepen relationships with our fans in regions such as Asia and the US.”
