Amorim hails his team's 'exhibition'
Ruben Amorim praised the collective effort of his Manchester United team as the Reds reached the last eight of the Europa League.
A 4-1 home win over Real Sociedad sealed a 5-2 aggregate success, with Bruno Fernandes notching a hat-trick and Diogo Dalot also on the scoresheet late on.
Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund were among those to impress and catch the eye of the boss, who was confident his charges would get the job done, regardless of the fact the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Jon Aramburu was sent off.

Amorim: We’re learning as a team
AMORIM'S VERDICT | Hear from Ruben, as he reflects on a morale-boosting night in Manchester…
IT WAS A GOOD WEEK
"The performance was really good. I think the response has been great, it was a good week. We show a little bit of the future. We talk about the problems of the present and give a good exhibition to our fans to complete the week. We are learning about us, about different competitions, how to win games. Sometimes how to draw games, to win some points. So, it was a tough week, but a good week.”
CONFIDENCE IN THE PLAYERS
"Sometimes, I feel in the team: we can do this. We are good players, we can be a good team, and, today, I felt that. Even, we had the sending off, but even without the sending off, you feel that the team are going to win this game."
TEAM EFFORT
"Rasmus needs a goal, for example, but the work he put in today. Because we play with the two no.10s, we need one player to push the team to make the runs. And he's doing that. He is helping a lot, the team is better in connection. Today, he did some three or four connections that can allow us to change the side of the game. I think he deserved this kind of moment [the assist for Dalot] to feel that. Every striker wants to score goals and we are going to help him score. He's so anxious, you can see it. But Josh, everybody, Nous did it. All the team played really well today."
RESPONSE TO CRITICISM
"Yes and everybody here believes in them. We need to show everybody. Like I said before the game, we know our moment, we did a lot of things bad, bad performances, bad results and we need to continue in the next match."

HAT-TRICK HERO BRUNO
"He's always there and the guy that can play one game and then, suddenly, he will be ready to play in the different position. He can [do] set-pieces, he can score penalties with a high pressure. He can make transitions in the last 15 minutes of the game, with a lot of games, so it's perfect for us. And we need to help him to win titles.”
LYON NEXT
"It's big but I think it's going to be a different game. Against Lyon is going to be a different game because the physicality is there. They play in the league that is so physical, like ours. Doesn't have the same quality, but the physicality. So, it is going to be a different game. We have to find the different ways of winning the games, and we are ready for that. It's Leicester in this moment, though, let's just focus on that."
