Amorim calm about Maguire's future
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has stressed it is not the time to be discussing Harry Maguire's contractual situation, with the focus on following up the win at Liverpool by beating Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Maguire was the matchwinner at Anfield, heading home Bruno Fernandes's cross to earn a victory to savour on Merseyside, and, with his present deal due to expire next summer, there has been speculation surrounding his future and the possibility of extending his stay at Old Trafford.
While expressing his satisfaction with the form of the centre-back, who is being touted for an England recall under Thomas Tuchel, the boss made it clear that on-field matters are very much the priority, as we look to make it three wins on the spin in the Premier League.

"We are really happy with Harry," he told reporters at Carrington during Friday's press conference.
"It’s not the time to talk about that [Maguire's future]. That gives the idea that we are thinking so far away. We are really happy with Harry but we need to focus on the next game."
Maguire looks at home in a three-man central defence, after shining in the system for his country for many years, and he will hope to shrug off a knock in order to retain his place and face the Seagulls in the 17:30 BST kick-off.
"I think it was good for him to play with three centre-backs," added Amorim. "I think he feels more comfortable.
“Because he plays in the centre, he doesn't need to go to the side so much. So, sometimes, you help some players with the way you play. Sometimes, it's the opposite with some players. So, I'm really pleased.
"I think he's not young [32], but he can learn a lot. He can improve. I think it can be so much better with the ball, because he has that quality, and he needs to show that.
"Nowadays, with the set-pieces that you see, the amount of men that you put in the box, every cross from the opponents, and everyone is playing like that. He's a massive player for us, so I'm really happy, but he needs to continue. That game is in the past. That goal is in the past. Let's move forward to the present and the future."
