Amorim shares credit for set-piece potency
Ruben Amorim has shared the credit for Manchester United's increased threat from set-pieces of late.
Our head coach, speaking to MUTV's Mark Sullivan in advance of our trip to London to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, acknowledged the amount of work that goes into such situations during training at Carrington.
Casemiro headed in a Bruno Fernandes corner to open the scoring at Nottingham Forest, last time out, before Amad's superb volleyed equaliser came when another corner was only partially cleared.

In total, we've scored five times from set-pieces in the league this term, according to whoscored.com, and our only cup tie in 2025/26, away to Grimsby Town, featured Harry Maguire netting from a Mason Mount corner.
Only league leaders Arsenal (10) and Chelsea (8) have more set-piece goals in the top flight, at the time of writing, and it is a source of encouragement against a team now famed for their expertise in this area under former Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
When asked who deserves the credit for increasing our threat from set-plays, Amorim said: "Everyone, everyone. Since the staff, Carlos [Fernandes], he knows them very well. But again, especially the players. They are so much focused on every detail of the game and they understand the way we are going to play the game, that can change with one corner.
"Your strategy [sometimes] it depends on corners, on crosses. So I think the credit we need to give also to Carlos and Emanuel [Ferro], all the analyst guys, Kaita [Hasegawa], the guys that do an amazing job of understanding the idea of the opponents.
"But the credit is always [to] the players because they play the game."

Spurs put teams under pressure from dead-ball situations and will present a different challenge to the one provided last season by Ange Postecoglou's team.
Centre-back Micky van de Ven scored twice from corners in the recent win at Everton and has been in outstanding form in front of goal.
"We know how strong they are in set-pieces, [so that] is going to be massive," added Ruben. "It is massive now. We are prepared for another fight, but we are confident that we can win the game."
