WSL games set to be shown on Sky Sports & BBC Sport
Women’s Super League matches are set to be shown live on Sky Sports and BBC Sport for the next three years.
The new deal will see up to 44 live games shown on Sky, with a minimum of 35 being screened. Meanwhile, BBC Sport will broadcast up to 22 live games and will show a minimum of 18 matches. Games not selected will continue to be streamed for free on the FA Player.
An official statement released by the WSL, described the new television package as a ‘landmark moment’ for the league, ‘with more visibility than ever before’.
