Who is Manchester United's penalty-taker?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been asked who Manchester United's regular penalty-taker is after Marcus Rashford scored from the spot against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The England international took on the responsibility to score his first goal since the restart, even though Bruno Fernandes was on the pitch. The Portuguese playmaker had found the net at Tottenham Hotspur from the spot and has not missed since joining the club in January.
Paul Pogba is fit again and both he and Anthony Martial have also converted penalties in this season's Premier League. When looking at all competitions, Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood have also netted from 12 yards, against AZ Alkmaar and Tranmere Rovers respectively.
When Ole was put on the spot, himself, about the subject, he said at his press conference ahead of Thursday's game at Aston Villa: "It's going to be a job that they will share again. It's who feels very confident, there and then.
“You see Bruno scored against Tottenham. I think Marcus would have taken the next one against Tottenham, when we got the VAR call that it wasn't a penalty, and I'm very confident in both of them.
“So, no worries. They've got to make the decision out there and that's just how we'll leave it."
This season, Rashford has taken nine penalties and converted seven of them, while Fernandes has three out of three.
Martial scored one, the winner in the Europa League tie against Partizan Belgrade in October, but had one saved by Tim Krul in the league win at Norwich City, while Pogba's effort was stopped by Wolverhampton Wanderers keeper Rui Patricio in August.
