Solskjaer reveals when internationals will return
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed more senior players will return to training on Monday, ready and excited to start their pre-season campaigns.
Indeed, our squad at the moment only includes a handful of experienced first-team players, such as Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood to name a few.
Many of our international players who competed at Euro 2020 and Copa America have been enjoying much-needed breaks with their families to ensure their batteries are recharged.

“It's still a bit too early for them,” said Ole. “Many will join in training on Monday so they've got their catch up, a few weeks. That's unfortunately the way it is, every year where there is a tournament, we have to catch up and hopefully they've done the work we've told them to do when they're away.”
In his press conference with journalists, Solskjaer also reported that our players who reached the two international finals in the summer will return in around 10 days’ time.
That includes England internationals Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford, as well as Brazil midfielder Fred.
“The English players and Fred, the ones who went all the way to the finals in the Copa America and the Euros - they needed a longer break. They'll be back with us in about 10 days’ time.”
