Our guide keeps track of the comings and goings at United during the transfer window.

He has been a regular at youth level in recent seasons and captained the Under-21s in their opening Premier League 2 fixtures, versus Arsenal and Stoke.

Sonny was part of the squad which lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2022, appearing as a late substitute in the 3-1 final win over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford and he also played the second half of our first pre-season friendly of summer 2024, against Rosenborg in Norway.

His is the sixth loan departure to be confirmed by the Reds in this summer window, with Rhys Bennett, Joe Hugill, Radek Vitek and Tom Wooster all plying their trade away from the club this season, while Elyh Harrison's move to Chester was sealed earlier on Friday.

Good luck during your time with Accrington, Sonny!
