Tara Bourne joins Birmingham City on loan

Manchester United Women can today confirm that defender Tara Bourne will spend the 2022/23 season on loan at Barclays Women’s Championship side Birmingham City.

After signing her first professional contract with United last season, Tara spent two spells on loan, the first with Sheffield United Women and the second with Blackburn Rovers Ladies.

On Tara’s loan, head coach Marc Skinner said: “This loan move to Birmingham City Women will give Tara continued valuable first team experience in a very competitive league. We’re confident the loan spell will really aid Tara’s development and will be keeping a close eye on her throughout the season.”

Everyone at Manchester United Women wish Tara a successful 2022/23 campaign in the West Midlands.
