Confirmed: United Women’s pre-season schedule
Manchester United Women’s pre-season schedule has been confirmed with the Reds set to play five matches this summer ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Three days later, the Reds will face Liverpool from midday BST, with the newly promoted WSL team also visiting our training ground.
United Women to play in AMOS Cup

Those two outings precede a visit to France and our participation in the AMOS Women’s French Cup, alongside European clubs FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
In last month’s draw, the Reds were paired with Paris Saint-Germain at the semi-final stage. Taking place at the 19,500 capacity Stade Ernest-Wallon in Toulouse, that last-four match will take place on Tuesday 16 August at 20:00 BST.
Depending on the result of that tie, Skinner’s side will either play in the third-place play-off or the final against one of Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
Those fixtures will both take place on 19 August at the aforementioned venue. You can purchase tickets for all AMOS Women’s French Cup matches online here, via the tournament’s website.
The team will then return home and continue to step up preparations for the new campaign with a final pre-season friendly at Carrington, against fellow WSL side Everton.
The Toffees are set to visit on Sunday 28 August for a midday BST kick-off, two weeks before the start of the season.
That fixture will be our first meeting with the Merseysiders since last season’s memorable afternoon at Old Trafford in which the Reds triumphed 3-1, thanks to goals from Alessia Russo (2) and Katie Zelem.
Please note that all games at Carrington will be played behind closed doors.
