Manchester United's team to take on Liverpool at Old Trafford has been announced.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has picked his side to take on our fiercest of rivals for the 16:30 BST kick-off, boosted by the availability of Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Marcus Rashford.

All three sustained knocks in the thrilling 3-2 victory over Atalanta in the Champions League in midweek but have made the matchday squad for the visit of the in-form Merseysiders.

The boss has decided to stick with an unchanged side from the one that beat the Serie A side, with Fred and Scott McTominay paired in midfield, behind playmaker Fernandes.

Cristiano Ronaldo, as expected, starts in attack as the Reds look to take the game to Jurgen Klopp's men.

As for Liverpool, Fabinho is out with a knee injury while Sadio Mane has been replaced in the side by Diogo Jota. Ibrahima Konate comes into defence to partner Virgil van Dijk.
