Solskjaer's fitness update on four players
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on four first-team players ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all missed our midweek UEFA Europa League victory over LASK and, speaking to the media in Austria ahead of our maiden trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ole revealed there is mixed new regarding their respective fitness levels.
“I wouldn’t think Paul is ready, no,” the boss told the assembled media. “He’s trained today [Thursday] and is going to train tomorrow.
“I don’t think he’s had enough sessions with the team. But I had a nice conversation with him the other day and I wouldn’t think he’d be against it if I asked him.”

While Sunday’s game appears to have come too early for Pogba, Ole did have more positive news regarding Wan-Bissaka, who put in an outstanding performance during last weekend’s 2-0 win over local rivals Manchester City.
“Aaron will be ready, definitely,” he confirmed. “Jesse and Anthony, I’m not sure as they’ve not trained this week,” he added.
The Reds head into the match on the back of a three-game winning run, while we’re also unbeaten in our last 11 encounters in all competitions.

Sunday’s trip to the capital provides the Reds with a chance to extend both of those records and strengthen our top-four aspirations against a fellow rival for the remaining Champions League places.
“I hope we can just continue our good form we’re in and the players are being so focused and doing their jobs,” said Ole.
“Of course, we’ll sit down and decide tactically what we’re going to do and which way we’ll approach the game. We want to go there and dominate obviously and be the best possible version of Manchester United.”
