Amorim's team news for United v Wolves
Ruben Amorim does not expect any of Manchester United’s injured players to return to action in Tuesday’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The press conference to preview our final fixture of 2025 was conducted immediately after the Boxing Day victory over Newcastle United, and embargoed until 13:30 GMT on Monday.
While days have passed since then, Ruben was clear when referencing Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire.

PRESS CONFERENCE | Ruben is asked about injuries, transfers, formations and ending the year against Wolves…
Asked if any players could be back against Wolves, Ruben said: "No."
"I don't know how Mase is going to be for that game. I think Kobbie Mainoo is not going to be ready, Bruno is not going to be ready, Matta is not going to be ready, Harry is not going to be ready, so I don’t think we are going to have more players.”

Asked whether any of those players might return for the Leeds United game on 4 January, Amorim responded: “Bruno is already saying that he needs to train [laughs], but we don't know.
“Kobbie Mainoo is going to start on the pitch, also, so we will see. Matta is struggling a little bit, Harry the same thing, so I don't expect to have the players for this game [against Wolves].
“For the other game [against Leeds], I don't know.”

Later, Ruben laughed when pressed on the idea of Bruno convincing him he can play.
“There is no chance he is going to play against Wolves, you can write that,” smiled the boss.
United v Wolves kicks off at the slightly later time of 20:15 GMT on Tuesday. MUTV subscribers can watch 90 minutes of exclusive build-up from 18:45.
