Team news for Brighton encounter
Ruben Amorim has delivered a team news update during his press conference to preview Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Manchester United head coach answered questions from journalists at Carrington and was asked about the squad situation, on the back of the wonderful win at Liverpool last weekend.
There were a couple of issues earlier in the week, with Anfield hero Harry Maguire and Mason Mount, but it is hoped they will both be available for the 17:30 BST kick-off.
Lisandro Martinez remains out, while Noussair Mazraoui returned to the matchday squad as an unused substitute on Merseyside.
"The squad is fine," declared Amorim. "We have some doubts, we had some issues in the week with Harry Maguire and Mason Mount. Knocks, nothing serious and we will see tomorrow.
"Licha is out. He trained really well. He was on the next pitch and I was watching. He's training really well, the knee is looking well but I don't want to say a specific week [for his return] and then it depends on Licha, whether he wins the spot."
BRIGHTON'S TEAM NEWS
The in-form visitors have received a boost as Diego Gomez is fit, despite being withdrawn in the 2-1 win over Newcastle United last time out, and the injury situation is clearing up for them.
Absentees Brajan Gruda, Kaoru Mitoma and Joel Veltman are all in contention to feature, even though Jack Hinshelwood, Solly March and Adam Webster are still out.
"They're all close to the team," Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler said of Gruda, Mitoma and Veltman. "So maybe one or two of them might be available. They don't have big issues, they're small issues.
"They are nothing serious but I can't say that they all will be available. I can't say that they won't be available.
"We have to see how Friday goes and then we have to make a decision. I think Diego will be spotted tomorrow [Saturday] at Old Trafford. He will be available to start."
