The first half of the FA Cup round-of-16 matches were played on Tuesday night, with Manchester United's tie against West Ham one of the remaining four fixtures to be played this evening.

Premier League sides Brighton, Fulham and Manchester City reached the last eight, while Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers produced an upset away to Leicester to eliminate the Foxes.

Ahead of the second night of fixtures, in which three other matches will be played alongside ours, The Football Association have confirmed when the draw for the quarter-finals will take place.

Get the lowdown on both sides, as Erik ten Hag’s side take on the Hammers in the FA Cup.

Following the conclusion of the fifth-round tie between Sheffield United and Tottenham on BBC One in the UK, which kicks off at 19:55 GMT at Bramall Lane, the draw will be conducted as part of the live coverage. It will also be streamed on the Emirates FA Cup's official social media channels.

The FA have also released the ball numbers for the draw, with United or West Ham no.7.

This season's quarter-finals are due to be played on the weekend of 18-19 March when United were due to play away to Brighton in the Premier League. That match has already been postponed, and is to be rearranged for a later date, due to the Seagulls' progression in the FA Cup yesterday.

Elsewhere, the other fifth-round ties to be contested tonight are Southampton v Grimsby and Burnley v Fleetwood.

Erik ten Hag said in his exclusive matchday Q&A with club media that Sunday’s Carabao Cup triumph is now "history" and is urging his side to “focus on the job".

That job is the fifth-round tie against the Hammers, at the Theatre of Dreams, and he will no doubt be eager to see his side progress and be in the hat for the quarter-finals.

WHAT IF TONIGHT'S TIE FINISHES LEVEL?

If United and West Ham cannot be separated after 90 minutes, extra-time will be played, followed by penalties if needed.

Our wins over Everton and Reading in the third and fourth rounds respectively would have been settled by replays had they been all square at the end of normal time.

However, there will be no replays from this point onwards in this season's competition, with all games to be settled by extra-time and penalties if required.
