The five Reds who have run over 100km

Manchester United's players have been putting in the hard yards in the Premier League this season.

After 12 games in the division, five regulars have managed to clock up triple figures in terms of kilometres covered, according to the Opta data logged in each match.

There will be plenty more mileage on the clock once the action gets under way again after the international break with a packed calendar of 11 fixtures, in all competitions, between now and the end of the year.

Scott McTominay tops the list in terms of kilometres covered this season.

Scott McTominay leads the way in terms of distance covered, although his ever-present record in the league could be under threat after picking up an ankle injury against Brighton & Hove Albion, which kept him out of the latest Scotland squad.

The highest individual running stat came from Scott during the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford, even though he was only fractionally ahead of midfield colleague Fred on the day.

Despite being a centre-back, Harry Maguire is next on the list, perhaps illustrating how much he likes advancing forward with the ball, with Daniel James, Marcus Rashford and Andreas Pereira the others to top 100 kilometres. Victor Lindelof is very close to also hitting that mark.

MOST DISTANCE COVERED

Scott McTominay 130.88 km
Harry Maguire 112.24 km
Daniel James 107.83 km
Marcus Rashford 105.19 km
Andreas Pereira 101.63 km
