What's happening at United this week?

As we begin the first full week of a busy April, read our breakdown of what awaits Manchester United across the next seven days.

The first team have two Premier League fixtures, with United Women beginning the international break and neither Academy team having a match.

Erik ten Hag's men welcome Brentford to Old Trafford on Wednesday before hosting Everton at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday, with the Reds undoubtedly keen to bounce back from Sunday's defeat at Newcastle.

In addition to these fixtures and the press conferences, previews and other content that comes with them, there are also some key dates and anniversaries to keep an eye out for too.

MONDAY

We wrap up reaction from United Women's triumph over Brighton on Saturday with further reaction from our players, as well as looking ahead to the women's international break.

On 3 April 2016, the Sir Bobby Charlton stand was named and unveiled to the Old Trafford faithful.

TUESDAY

Attention will be fully focused on Wednesday's clash with Brentford at Old Trafford. Read our preview and watch Erik ten Hag's pre-match press conference live across our official platforms. A new episode of The Debate will also drop on Tuesday, with former Reds and football journalists discussing the key talking points from the weekend, and previewing the upcoming match against Brentford.

Tuesday 4 April marks the date former Red Ray Wilkins passed away. Wilkins spent five years at United during his playing career, and moved into management later on, leaving his mark on the footballing world.

We will also remember the great Duncan Edwards, who made his debut for the Reds on 4 April 1953. He would go on to play 177 times for us and leave a lasting legacy at the club as one of the Busby Babes.

WEDNESDAY

In the evening, our first team are back in Premier League action and welcome the Bees to Old Trafford in a 20:00 BST kick-off. This one is not being broadcasted in the UK, but fans can watch our Match Day Live show from 18:55 BST.

Here, we will provide exclusive pre-match build-up and post-match reaction, as well as other must-see content. There will also be full radio commentary available to listen to during the full 90 minutes on ManUtd.com and in the United app.

Highlights of the clash will be available two hours after the full-time whistle, with 90 in 20 and Full 90 versions landing at midnight in the UK.

This day also marks the moment a then-unknown Federico Macheda made his Manchester United debut at Old Trafford, coming off the bench to score that memorable last-minute winner against Aston Villa.

THURSDAY

Following Wednesday's clash at the Theatre of Dreams, we’ll continue to react to the match against the Bees.

We’ll also start looking ahead to Saturday’s visit of Everton providing early team news from both camps.

FRIDAY 

Erik will conduct his second pre-match press conference of the week, prior to Saturday's Premier League match against Everton. You can watch the full briefing live on ManUtd.com and in the United App, with the key highlights available to view and read about across our official platforms.

Expect further previews and interviews ahead of the clash with the Toffees too, as we gear up to face the Blues for the third time this season.

SATURDAY

Before the Reds welcome Everton to Old Trafford, get pumped for the game by reading and watching Ten Hag's customary Matchday Q&A.

At 12:30 BST, our match against the Sean Dyche's side will kick-off, with the action available to watch on BT Sport in the UK.

As usual, we will be providing expert analysis and reaction on our Match Day Live show, which is available to watch on MUTV.  Live coverage will begin at 11:25 BST, with radio commentary following for the full 90 minutes.

Short highlights of the match will be available from two hours after the game has concluded, with extended versions following on Sunday.

SUNDAY 

On Easter Sunday, the 90 in 20 and Full 90 editions of our highlights will be available, allowing you to re-live or catch up on Saturday's fixture against Everton. Further reaction will also follow, with interviews and match features.

We’ll also start looking ahead to next week, which will see the Reds back in Europa League action, as well the return of fixtures for our women's and Academy teams.
