What is happening at United this week?

Another busy seven days awaits Manchester United with our first team in Premier League action twice, on Wednesday and Sunday.

Our other teams have fixtures too, with United Women and our Under-18s playing at the weekend, while the Under-21s are in action on Friday.

In addition to matches, we'll also be looking back on key dates at the club, including a history-making moment for United legend Wayne Rooney.

MONDAY

We kick off the week with continued reaction to our thrilling Manchester derby win, as well as United Women's emphatic WSL triumph over rivals Liverpool.

Images and highlights from Sunday's first-team training session will be available across our official channels, with new signing Wout Weghorst going out onto the Carrington pitches for the first time with his new team-mates.

The latest episode of the UTD Podcast, featuring former Reds striker Fraizer Campbell, is being released at the beginning of the week. Keep an eye out on ManUtd.com and in the United App for stories and clips from an intriguing sit-down with the Academy graduate.

We will begin to look ahead to the Reds' midweek clash with Crystal Palace, with our in-depth match preview.

TUESDAY

Erik's pre-match press conference, ahead of Wednesday's trip to Selhurst Park, will be available to read and watch on ManUtd.com and in the United App, with the boss fielding a series of questions from journalists ahead of the Premier League fixture.

The February 2023 edition of our club magazine Inside United will be released on Tuesday! World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez is the cover star, with an interview with the Argentinian - and plenty of other exclusive United content - featuring inside.

WEDNESDAY 

Ahead of our evening Premier League fixture, watch and read Erik's exclusive matchday Q&A with club media. 

At 20:00 GMT, the Reds face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, with the match being broadcasted live on Sky Sports in the UK. You can also follow our matchday blog on ManUtd.com and in the United App for exclusive pre-match build-up, team news, and post-match reaction. There will also be radio commentary for the full 90 minutes.

THURSDAY

We’ll continue to react to our clash with Palace, with 90 in 20 and Full 90 versions of the highlights available to watch.

Attention will quickly turn to the weekend, too, as both Academy sides, United Women and the first team are action across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Look ahead to each of these fixtures with match previews and other pre-match content.

FRIDAY

Ahead of Sunday's match against Arsenal, Erik will conduct his pre-match press conference. Watch and read about the full media briefing on ManUtd.com and in the United App.

Our Under-21s are in Premier League 2 action, travelling down to London to take on West Ham. This one is being broadcasted live on MUTV, with our coverage beginning at 18:45 GMT, 15 minutes before the 19:00 GMT kick-off. In addition to live coverage, regular updates and images will be available in the United App, with highlights published across our platforms after the full-time whistle.

United Women's captain, Katie Zelem, celebrates her birthday on Friday. Happy birthday, Katie!

On this day, we will also be commemorating the death of the late, great Sir Matt Busby.

The Reds go second in the league after a thumping win over our Merseyside rivals.

SATURDAY

Our Under-18s take on Liverpool at Carrington in the Under-18 Premier League North. Kick-off in this one is at 11:00 GMT, and it is available to watch live on MUTV. As usual, we will post updates in the United App, with images and highlights available across our official platforms following the full-time whistle.

On this day in 2017, Wayne Rooney became the club’s all-time top goalscorer when he netted against Stoke City in the Premier League. 

Class of '92 members Nicky Butt and Phil Neville - as well as current United youngster Hannibal - all celebrate their birthdays on 21 January. Many happy returns!

SUNDAY

We close the week out with a double-header, as Marc Skinner’s United Women travel to Reading for a WSL match. This fixture as available to watch on the FA Player, with kick-off at the Select Car Leasing Stadium set for 14:00 GMT. Follow the encounter on ManUtd.com and in the United App, with updates, images, and post-match reaction.

At 16:30 GMT, the first team kick-off at the Emirates Stadium against Premier League table-toppers Arsenal, in a bid to close the gap on the Gunners. Live coverage of this one is available on Sky Sports for those in the UK, with our MUTV live show starting at 15:25 GMT. Here, we will provide pre-match build-up and post-match reaction.
