What's happening this week at United?

Another action-packed week awaits us here at Manchester United, with games scheduled for all of our sides across the next seven days.

Erik ten Hag's men are in action twice in two different cup competitions, while our Women's side are set to continue their own FA Cup journey too.

In addition to these matches, we'll also be looking back on key dates at the club, including a few birthdays along the way.

As we embark on yet another busy week at the club, here's everything you need to know…

MONDAY

Reaction and analysis will follow from both games on Sunday involving our first team and United Women, with post-match reaction and extended highlights set to be available.

We also made an announcement about our plans for the Stretford End and are due to cover training at Carrington.

Former winger Andrei Kanchelskis also celebrates his 54th birthday, after spending four years here at Old Trafford between 1991 and 1995.

TUESDAY

Build up to United's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg with us, as we count down to kick-off at The City Ground on Wednesday. 

Our Under-21s side are also in action at 19:00 GMT, as the young Reds are set to take on Feyenoord in the Premier League International Cup. You'll also be able to follow live updates and catch the subsequent highlights on both ManUtd.com and the Official App.

Tuesday also marks Fabio's debut back in 2009, in a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup.

WEDNESDAY

The Reds travel to The City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in the first leg of our Carabao Cup semi-final clash. Kick-off is 20:00 GMT and you can watch all the action live in the UK over on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

This date marks the debut of defensive stalwart Nemanja Vidic back in 2006, with Wednesday also racking up nine years since Juan Mata signed from Chelsea.

THURSDAY

We'll bring you all the post-match reaction and extended highlights from our cup encounter in Nottingham the previous evening, including our exclusive 'Access All Areas' feature.

Alexis Sanchez made his debut on this day in 2018, following the Chilean's move from Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Two lifelong Reds were invited to Carrington to educate some of our youngsters on a key part of United history.

FRIDAY

The end of the week brings even more football for you to enjoy, as our Under-21s are set to take on Blackburn Rovers in Premier League 2. Kick-off is set for 19:00 GMT at Leigh Sports Village and the game is being broadcast live on MUTV. You'll also be able to stay right up to date with updates on the United App.

First-team boss Erik ten Hag will also address the media ahead of our Emirates FA Cup clash with Reading on Saturday, so be sure to stay tuned to all of our platforms for the latest team news and updates from Carrington.

Former United goalkeeper Lee Grant turns 40, while it also marks a year since United Women's trio Diane Caldwell, Jade Moore and Signe Bruun all signed for the club.

We'll also pay our respects to the late, great Sir Mat Busby, who was laid to rest 28 years ago.

SATURDAY

Saturday brings an action-packed day of football, with, firstly, our Under-18s taking to the field against Wolves at the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground. Kick-off is 11:00 GMT and once again will keep you right up to date with live coverage on MUTV.

Ten Hag's matchday Q&A will also be published as we prepare to take on Reading in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford. The game will begin at 20:00 GMT and will be shown live on ITV4 in the UK for all budding watchers.

Saturday also marks the anniversaries of the United debuts of Juan Mata (2014) and Phil Neville (1995).

SUNDAY

United Women are also in FA Cup action, travelling to Sunderland for a 13:00 GMT kick-off, with the game scheduled to be screened live on MUTV.

Everyone at the club will remember the late Tommy Taylor, our former centre-forward who tragically lost his life in the Munich Air Disaster, on what would have been his 91st birthday.
