Tom Sang has signed a contract extension with Manchester United.
The midfielder has featured for the Under-23s and UEFA Youth League side this season but had a spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The teenager, born in Liverpool, turns 19 in the summer and explained recently how his dedication to working tirelessly in the gym helped earn a place with the Reds, following a trial spell. An important player defensively, he helps screen the back four and is a neat passer of the ball.
Coach Ricky Sbragia will be able to call upon Sang's services again next term when the 2018/19 campaign gets under way, following confirmation of the fresh deal on Tuesday.
The Premier League 2 season finished with a 2-2 draw against Everton at Old Trafford on 20 April.
