Duo return to training at Carrington

Two returning players featured in Manchester United's latest training session on Thursday morning.

The Reds are preparing for the Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Monday night and the ranks have been swelled by the reappearance of Jonny Evans and Anthony Martial.

The experienced pair took part in first-team training, in front of our cameras, and will be hoping to play their part in the run-in, with four league fixtures and the Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City to come.

Jonny Evans last played in the game against Chelsea.

Evans has had to deal with what was described as a minor issue that has kept him out since the defeat to Chelsea on 4 April.

The 36-year-old came on as a substitute in the Stamford Bridge encounter but was withdrawn after only 21 minutes of the second half, with Willy Kambwala taking his place in the 4-3 reverse.

Martial has been unavailable since undergoing an operation in January to fix a groin problem.

The striker, who scored in our Carabao Cup victory against Palace earlier in the season at Old Trafford, last appeared in the loss to Bournemouth on 9 December.

We will hear from manager Erik ten Hag later on Thursday, as it remains to be seen if they will be fit enough to make the travelling squad for London.
