Confirmed: Our travelling squad for PSG away

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has selected a 20-man squad to take to France for Manchester United's clash with Paris Saint-Germain as the Reds attempt to overturn a 2-0 deficit.

The party flew out of Manchester Airport on Tuesday morning ahead of Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second-leg tie in Paris.

Injuries have hampered Solskjaer's preparations with a number of senior players missing, including Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Alexis Sanchez, while Paul Pogba is suspended, following his red card in the first leg at Old Trafford.

Despite being without a host of big names, it's given United's caretaker manager a chance to bring some young players on the trip to gain some important experience in Europe's biggest club competition

Eight players who have represented the club’s fabled Academy are included in the party – Tahith Chong, James Garner, Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Marcus Rashford and Brandon Williams.

Greenwood is fit again after being absent for a couple of weeks and is still to make his senior debut, although he was an unused substitute against Valencia earlier in the competition. The striker has been a prolific marksman for the Under-18s and in the UEFA Youth League, while also netting on his Under-23s bow against Wolves.

Williams is an enterprising full-back who has captained the Under-18s and has only recently broken into Ricky Sbragia’s Under-23s set-up. A tough tackler who loves to get forward, he is sure to benefit from the experience.

On arrival in Paris, Solskjaer will address the media at the Parc des Princes before overseeing a training session on the pitch with his squad.
