United and adidas launch limited edition trainer

After the launch of our home, away and third kits for 2021/22, we are so excited to officially present the ZX Boost - which is now available on United Direct.

The ZX range came to be back in the 1980’s as a running-focused range, and at the time it was something completely different, bringing in ground-breaking technology to pave the way for runners and trainer lovers.

Luckily, adidas didn’t stop there and they have kept pushing the boundaries of innovation since, and we’ve since seen some incredible models from the ZX range over the years.

This ZX Boost is a performance focused trainer that combines the technical genius of adidas with the ferocity of supporting Manchester United.

Borrowing colours from the club’s electric new third kit, which is available to order now, this blacked-out model features the club badge both in the sockliner and on the translucent outsole.

With an upper that is constructed from textile, a lace closure system is also on hand to ensure that a comfortable and snug fit is locked in place.

The boost midsole ensures that there’s a spring in every step thanks to its unique energy returning technology.

Boost is made from thermoplastic polyurethane, which is a collection of small and springy spheres that work by bouncing back into their original shape after you take a step, and thus returning the energy back into your stride.

The responsive cushioning of Boost technology provides support too, keeping your feet comfortable all day long.

This sleek and stylish trainer completes any look, and it just happens to be a bonus that it features the club badge throughout, so you that you can show off your support in real style.
