United Predictions: Will Ronaldo start against Newcastle?
Our United Predictions game has been played by more fans than ever before so far this season, and things are about to hot up this weekend, ahead of what could be Cristiano Ronaldo's first game since rejoining the club.
The 36-year-old could be in line for a second United debut when Steve Bruce's Newcastle visit Old Trafford this Saturday (11 September, kick-off 15:00 BST).
And you can win some INCREDIBLE prizes by predicting whether the Portuguese could make our starting XI, or even be our first goalscorer.
A signed shirt is won by a fan after every single fixture and our monthly winners also receive the same prize, plus a year’s subscription to MUTV.com.
The grand prize for the season’s overall winner and their guest is a matchday experience at Old Trafford, including travel by rail or air and hotel accommodation for the night.
So what's holding you back?!
Download or open our Official App to play the game before Saturday’s hugely anticipated clash with Newcastle. If you can predict our starting XI, first goalscorer and the correct result, you could have your hands on a signed shirt in no time!
Anyone can take part in the United Predictions game.
However, to retain your score and be in with a chance of winning incredible prizes in every match, each month and over the entire season, you must be registered and logged in to My United so we can keep track of your My United Score.
If you don’t register, then you can still make predictions for every match, but we won’t track your score and, after 14 days, the points will expire.
Don't take our word as gospel, but perhaps we can give you a few pointers to help you with your predictions for Saturday.
We've covered the hot topic of whether Ronaldo will start, but what about the rest of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's line-up? Well, August's Player of the Month, Mason Greenwood, seems a safe-ish bet: the youngster has scored in all three of our Premier League games so far.
And what about the final scoreline? Fixtures against the Magpies are always tough in this respect. What does history tell us to expect? In one word: goals. The last four Premier League meetings between the two sides at Old Trafford have produced a whopping 19 goals – just short of an average of five a game! Thankfully, the Reds have delivered the majority of them, with 3-1 and 4-1 scorelines in the last two seasons. But we'll leave the exact result up to you!
