'It's good watching United play like United'

Manchester United face West Ham United in the Premier League, and this is your chance to guess what is going to happen, by playing United Predictions.

As always, we've enlisted the help of former Reds to offer their views on the match, with Wes Brown and Danny Webber sending us their selections for the XI, first scorer, scoreline and Man of the Match.

Helen Evans and Liam Bradford also caught up with ex-striker Dion Dublin, at Carrington, to talk about why he believes the feelgood factor can continue with a fifth win in succession, since Michael Carrick took charge.

'Bruno is a true leader'

Dion Dublin explains what makes Bruno Fernandes so special, as the skipper makes a cameo appearance...

"It's just good to watch United playing like United, you know," said Dublin. "They have energy, they are crossing from the right and not chopping back and making it look easy because they've simplified it. What Michael has done, he's at the helm and said: 'I back you lads, just enjoy your football' and they make it look easy.

"They've just simplified it. Go and be Manchester United. Here's a bit of freedom for you. If you look at the results, it's also the performances."

The chat with Dion was briefly interrupted by Bruno Fernandes and the Portugal star is expected to be a key figure again, in the 20:15 GMT kick-off at the London Stadium.

"He's very much a leader," explained the former England front-man. "I think he likes pressure. He can back it up because of his performances. If you are the skipper, the first thing you have to do is play well yourself and then everyone will follow. I think he's been outstanding."

Meanwhile, Brown and Webber are thinking along similar lines as they share their insight into how things could pan out against the Hammers.

Both feel Carrick will retain an unchanged XI from the 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last time out. Wes reckons Matheus Cunha could operate as centre-forward.

They also opt for a 3-1 away win as their predicted score, with Bryan Mbeumo scoring the first goal.

Danny picks Casemiro to land our Man of the Match award but Wes, like Dion, believes Fernandes will be the biggest influence on proceedings.
