What is our goal of the season so far?
Manchester United will mark the midpoint of our campaign with Wolves' visit to Old Trafford on Tuesday, offering a natural opportunity to reflect on the season so far.
One of the highlights of 2025/26 to date has been our attacking play and threat in front of goal, with only the top two in the Premier League standings, Arsenal and Manchester City, bettering United's tally of 32 strikes after 18 matches.
You would be hard pushed to choose which of those efforts has been the pick of the bunch so far, with that just one of the questions posed to a group of Reds - including fans, journalists and former players - in our midterm report, featured in Tuesday's edition of United Review as the Reds take on Wolves.

Adam Marshall, club journalist: “Amad’s volley at Nottingham Forest. I was lucky to be working the match from the press box at the City Ground and had the perfect view of the clean strike in all its glory. It was such a stunning moment that I let out an involuntary short yelp, which was not useful considering the home fans were sat close by, in front of me! I only received a few disapproving looks, but I felt if Amad had scored that later chance he had, I’d have been best-served keeping my thoughts fully to myself!”
Andy Cole: “I’ll go for Bruno’s free-kick against Bournemouth. At that stage of the game, knowing you need an equaliser to try and go on and win the game afterwards… the quality was top drawer.”
Andy Mitten, United We Stand editor:“ Bruno’s free-kick against Bournemouth was fantastic, and came at a key moment in the game as well.”

Liam Bradford, MUTV commentator: “Maybe Bruno to Mason against Wolves. Bruno’s ball was fantastic and Mason’s volley is brilliant too. So that, just for the quality.”
Matthew Brown, club journalist: "Since the rest of the panellists gave their view before our last two games, I'll add a more recent contender to the mix: Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu's volley against Newcastle on Boxing Day. It was so sweetly struck, and even sweeter for proving to be the match-winner."
