United Women launch season tickets for 2023/24

Friday 31 March 2023 10:00

Manchester United has today launched its women team’s season-tickets sales process for the 2023/24 season.

Current season-ticket holders have been informed that they have until 18:00 BST on Friday 5 May to renew for next season.

Prices will be increased for the upcoming campaign for the first time since the team was formed in 2018. This rise reflects increased operating and energy costs at Leigh Sports Village, as well as helping ensure the club can continue to compete in all competitions on a consistent basis.

Season Tickets will be priced at £60 for adults and £30 for concessions – this is based on a cost of £6 / £3 per home Women’s Super League (WSL) fixture, with one fixture allocated free of charge.

By comparison, Official Members will pay £9 per game and non-Members £12, therefore providing Season-Ticket holders with a saving for each game.

Polly Bancroft, head of women’s football at Manchester United, said: "We are consistently welcoming more than 5,000 fans to Women’s Super League games at Leigh Sports Village, as well as up to 30,000 when the team plays at Old Trafford. These rising numbers reflect fans’ growing enthusiasm for our women’s team and, most importantly, the increasing quality of the football on show.

"The women’s game has changed significantly since the formation of the team, and we need to ensure there is a sustainable foundation for further growth. We are hugely grateful to the fans who are part of this exciting journey, and we feel confident that the revised price points still offer fantastic value to watch some of the best players in the women’s game.

"With a team competing for two trophies, and a place in Europe, this season, and ambitions for further progress during the 2023/24 campaign, it really is an exciting time to be watching and supporting the women’s team."
