Manchester United welcomed Olympic royalty to Old Trafford for the visit of Villarreal in the form of Usain Bolt.

Known for being a huge fan of the Reds, the eight-time gold medallist and 100m world-record holder was soaking up the atmosphere of seeing United at home in the Champions League.

The global icon was full of confidence before kick-off too, hoping for victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Watch Usain Bolt give his take on being in the crowd for the Villarreal tie.

Bolt famously declared he would have loved to play for United and has shown his ability during charity matches, looking the part as an all-action centre-forward.

He previously visited Carrington during Sir Alex Ferguson's reign, with the Scot a great admirer of somebody whom he described as simply "the fastest man in the world".

The directors' box is becoming a magnet for celebrity supporters with the prospect of watching Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Reds an entertaining one.

Let's hope Usain leaves a happy man after the Champions League tie with last season's Europa League winners.
