Manchester United Women's forward Tobin Heath is the latest guest on UTD Podcast.

The American superstar joined Helen Evans and ex-Red David May as the most recent guest on our official club podcast, which will be shown as part of Sunday's #ILOVEUNITED event.

Our no. 77 has enjoyed an illustrious career to date, becoming a World Cup winner both in 2015 and 2019 with the US national team, as well as receiving several individual accolades.

Speaking as part of her appearance on UTD Podcast, Heath recalled some of her career highlights and revealed a special ritual she undertakes ahead of playing for her country. Heath's episode will be available on your preferred streaming platform on Monday, but attendees of Sunday's #ILOVEUNITED event will be able to watch a sneak preview ahead of the Chelsea game.

The United Women's forward explains the quirky action she does when lining up to play for her country...

“I’m very much like this,” the MU Women attacker responded, when asked if she's really as calm as she looks on the pitch.

“On the field, people definitely see a different side of me than off the field. I feel such a comfort in my ability of what I do in football. I love games, I love that opportunity to entertain and do what you see in your dreams. Every single night I relish that.

“As I’m getting older, you don’t see too much ahead of you but more what’s behind you. I love games, I love football and any opportunity I get to play… It’s such an awesome feeling to do what you love and express yourself in such a natural way.”

The two-time World Cup-winner was also asked if she ever gets nervous ahead of big games.

“No, definitely not,” the 32-year-old said, before sharing her unorthodox tradition when lining up before an international game, to illustrate her calmness.

“I don’t think I’ve ever said this before, but before a national team game I always do this thing where I put my hand over my heart. I always see how low I can get my heart rate, just for the fun of it.

“I just think it’s a cool thing to take in an experience that’s supposed to be so like… We make up these feelings in our minds and they attach such a meaning onto things but to make things seem like you’re walking out to training I think is a really cool thing.”

A sneak preview of Heath's podcast will be shown on Sunday, as part of  #ILOVEUNITED USA. The pre-match event will take place ahead of the first team’s encounter with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The 90-minute show will be hosted by Mark Sullivan, alongside two-time Super Bowl winner Osi Umenyiora and LA-based actor Dominic Monaghan.

You'll also have the opportunity to hear from current Red Marcus Rashford, and former players Dion Dublin and Denis Irwin, while there's a special treat for Game of Thrones fans.
