Vote for December's Goal of the Month
December 2021 proved a rollercoaster month for Manchester United, from the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager to a series of postponed fixtures. But in the midst of all that, we saw several fantastic strikes.
There are 10 strikes nominated for December’s Goal of the Month, and it’s down to you to choose the best of the bunch.
Nine players are nominated for the award, with 17-year-old Alejandro Garnacho up for the gong twice with two wonderful goals.
The first is a mazy run against Blackburn Rovers U23s, while the second is an acrobatic finish in front of the Stretford End, scored in our Under-18s' comfortable FA Youth Cup win against Scunthorpe United.

Bruno Fernandes v Arsenal (H)
Our Portuguese magnifico scored his 45th United goal in his 100th appearance for the club, a crucial intervention in our thrilling 3-2 win against Arsenal at the start of the month.
Cristiano Ronaldo v Arsenal (H)
Talk about landmarks, this was Cristiano’s 800th career goal, for club and country. Bruno’s compatriot scored twice to send a floodlit Old Trafford into raptures.
Alejandro Garnacho v Blackburn U23 (A)
Garnacho’s mazy run was one of two goals for the Spanish winger in a 4-0 win at Blackburn.
Katie Zelem v Leicester (H)
Captain Katie Zelem put United ahead in our WSL Cup game against Leicester early in the month. The England international provided a deft Cantona-esque chip into the top far corner.
Fred v Crystal Palace (H)
He wasn’t the likeliest of goalscorers, but our beaming Brazilian pulled one out of the bag to secure the three points in Rangnick’s first game in charge.
Charlie McNeill v Young Boys U19 (H)
This was a wonderful, delicate chip from 18-year-old McNeill, and it gave Neil Wood’s Under-19s side a fifth win from six in the UEFA Youth League group stage.
Mason Greenwood v Young Boys (H)
Mason’s scissor kick lit up Old Trafford. “It was barely a chance,” said MUTV commentator Stewart Gardner. “It looks better every time you see it!”
Alejandro Garnacho v Scunthorpe U19 (H)
Five days after Mason’s acrobatic effort, Garnacho gave us one of his own, a wonderful strike in front of the Stretford End in our FA Youth Cup win at Old Trafford.
Martha Thomas v Everton (A)
The Scotland international finished off this well-worked team goal first time, helping Marc Skinner’s side to a 2-0 win in the FA WSL Cup.
Scott McTominay v Burnley (H)
McTominay provided some New Year cheer with this precise right-footed finish in front of the Stretty, setting us on our way to a comfortable win against Burnley.
