Vote for December's Goal of the Month

Sunday 02 January 2022 16:00

December 2021 proved a rollercoaster month for Manchester United, from the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager to a series of postponed fixtures. But in the midst of all that, we saw several fantastic strikes.

There are 10 strikes nominated for December’s Goal of the Month, and it’s down to you to choose the best of the bunch.

Nine players are nominated for the award, with 17-year-old Alejandro Garnacho up for the gong twice with two wonderful goals.

The first is a mazy run against Blackburn Rovers U23s, while the second is an acrobatic finish in front of the Stretford End, scored in our Under-18s' comfortable FA Youth Cup win against Scunthorpe United.

Watch the video of the 10 nominees below and cast your vote using our poll...

Alejandro Garnacho v Blackburn U23 (A)

Garnacho’s mazy run was one of two goals for the Spanish winger in a 4-0 win at Blackburn.

Katie Zelem v Leicester (H)

Captain Katie Zelem put United ahead in our WSL Cup game against Leicester early in the month. The England international provided a deft Cantona-esque chip into the top far corner.

Fred v Crystal Palace (H)

He wasn’t the likeliest of goalscorers, but our beaming Brazilian pulled one out of the bag to secure the three points in Rangnick’s first game in charge.

Charlie McNeill v Young Boys U19 (H)

This was a wonderful, delicate chip from 18-year-old McNeill, and it gave Neil Wood’s Under-19s side a fifth win from six in the UEFA Youth League group stage.
