Manchester United's final Player of the Month poll of the season is now live.

The Reds concluded our post-season tour of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong on Friday and while these friendlies don't count towards May's award, there are four Reds to choose from.

Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Leny Yoro are the players on the shortlist after a month where United drew the curtain on 2024/25 and played seven times.

CASEMIRO

5 apps, 2 goals

Our Brazilian midfielder played in five of our seven matches in May, contributing to three wins. The first of these was the first leg of our Europa League semi-final at Athletic Club, where Casemiro headed in our opener to set the Reds on the way to an impressive 3-0 win at the San Mames Stadium.

The midfielder also scored a header in the 4-1 second-leg victory a week later and could hold his head high after the final, despite the Reds being beaten narrowly by Tottenham Hotspur.

Case concluded the 2024/25 season with a start at Old Trafford, as we beat Champions League chasers Aston Villa 2-0 to end a disappointing campaign on a positive note.

BRUNO FERNANDES

6 apps, 2 goals, 2 assists

Our skipper was characteristically influential in May, scoring twice at Athletic Club as we gave ourselves a strong advantage in the semi-final tie after the first leg.

Bruno also laid on an assist in the second leg and during the final-day Premier League win against Aston Villa, passed up the opportunity to score a penalty so that Christian Eriksen could have the perfect send-off in his final appearance for the Reds.

Our no.8 had already assisted for Amad earlier in that fixture to help give the Reds a 1-0 lead over Villa, and was awarded our Man of the Match award for this fixture.

Bruno only missed our 4-3 defeat to Brentford in May and started all six of our other fixtures during the month.

MASON MOUNT

7 apps, 3 goals

May was a month where Mason grew into an even more important role for the Reds.

The midfielder played a part in all of our games during this spell and turned heads when he was introduced off the bench in our Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Club and scored twice.

That brace came four days after our no.7 netted at Brentford and Ruben Amorim subsequently started the midfielder in the Europa League final.

Mason started our last four matches of the 2024/25 season, demonstrating his importance to Ruben's team since he returned from injury.

LENY YORO

5 apps, 1 assist

Leny has grown into an important defender for United throughout 2024/25.

The Frenchman played in five of our games in May, missing the defeat at Chelsea and win over Aston Villa through injury.

Yoro laid on the assist for the first of Mount's goals in the Europa League second-leg win over Athletic Club and his striding runs from defence are something United fans are becoming accustomed to.

The Frenchman battled to be fit for the final in Bilbao and despite the defeat, was arguably United's best player on the night. The 19-year-old took to the big stage with aplomb and is quickly becoming a fans' favourite at the club.

Leny was not risked for the final day of the season against Villa, and subsequently the post-season tour of Asia, but Leny is becoming more and more important for the Reds with every passing game.
