Ten Hag's first season in charge has already brought the Carabao Cup back to Old Trafford, and it will end with the Reds playing in the Emirates FA Cup final on 3 June.

The Reds also reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League and are still fighting to finish in the Premier League's top four places, which would guarantee Champions League football for 2023/24.

Summer signings Antony, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez have all been impressive in their maiden seasons at the club, while many members of last year's squad have also flourished under Erik's tutelage.

Marcus Rashford has returned his best goal tally in a United shirt to date (29 so far), while Luke Shaw has deputised at centre-back impressively, as well as putting in stellar displays at left-back.

On the opposite side, Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have both looked resolute at right-back, sharing that position throughout the campaign.

These are just a few examples of superb individual contributions in a remarkable season that could yet bring further success.
