VICTOR LINDELOF

Following his nomination in January, the Swede is on the shortlist once again after another stellar month in which he contributed to three clean sheets in five appearances across all competitions.

Victor dealt with the ever-present counter-attacking threat of Leicester City and, in particular, handled the raw pace provided by the energetic Jamie Vardy, helping us to claim three important points in the race for the top four.

Tougher tests were to come and the defender showed his quality when he helped United reach the Emirates FA Cup sixth round with that convincing 2-0 win at Chelsea - the club's first win at Stamford Bridge for seven years.

The standout performance was arguably in the the draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford, where our no.2 made a number of crucial clearances and proved to be a real handful in the air for the high-flying visitors. His display clearly helped Solskjaer's squad to record a first clean sheet at home since mid-November.

Victor Lindelof played a big part in United's clean sheet against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

PAUL POGBA

After winning December's Player of the Month award and being shortlisted in January, Pogba continued to excel in midfield as the Frenchman scored three and assisted three more in his six appearances across February.

Paul started with a beauty of an assist for Marcus Rashford at the King Power Stadium. It was almost identical to the one that was scored in our 1-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the year and was just as effective, as it proved to be the deciding goal.

That assist was followed up a week later with a brace at Craven Cottage. Pogba opened the scoring with a brilliant finish from an acute angle and wrapped up the game with a confidently-taken penalty in our first visit to the banks of the Thames in five years.

In the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Chelsea, Pogba was instrumental in securing a vital 2-0 victory. He first assisted Herrera for the opener before setting away Rashford and getting on the end of the Englishman's cross with a darting run into the box, which ensured the Reds' progression to the next round.

The midfielder rounded off the month with an assist against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening, when Paul helped to organise what was a youthful midfield.

Paul Pogba provided three goals and three assists in all competitions in February.

ANDER HERRERA

February has been a standout month for the Spaniard, who has been given a more attacking role in midfield by Solskjaer and the results are clear for all to see.

The biggest showcase of this was against Chelsea, where Ander was voted our Man of the Match - not only for his header that broke the deadlock, but also for how he laid his body on the line with numerous blocks and clearances that eventually proved to be the difference.

Herrera's February was ultimately cut short when the Spaniard was one of three Reds that had to be replaced during the first half against Liverpool at Old Trafford, due to a muscular injury.

As a result, Ander was not in the squad in the Reds' 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

Ander Herrera produced a Man of the Match display in our FA Cup fifth round tie against Chelsea.
