Vote for your October Player of the Month

Tuesday 28 October 2025 14:30

Voting for Manchester United's Player of the Month for October is now officially open.

The Reds posted three wins from three in the Premier League, recording successes over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion during the month.

It's a feat that has delighted fans around the world and, of course, head coach Ruben Amorim, with plenty of players coming up clutch when required.

But as is ritual, it's now time for you to choose your standout star across the three-game period, with our four-man shortlist sure to give you plenty to ponder...

SENNE LAMMENS - 3 apps / 1 clean sheet / 1 MOTM

For a goalkeeper aged just 23, Senne Lammens has has a pretty decent start to life in M16. The Belgian shot-stopper yielded a dream debut when he was given the nod against Sunderland in our first outing of the month, posting a first club shutout against the Black Cats and being named Man of the Match.

From there on in, Amorim continued to relay his trust in the former Antwerp man, as he started in both our other victories against Liverpool and Brighton. Senne is already collecting an impressive catalogue of saves, too, and appears cool as a cucumber, despite being new to the English game.

His confident performances, as well as his impressive kicking, means we feel he is more than a worth contender for October's prize.

MATTHIJS DE LIGT - 3 apps

You do feel that defender Matthijs de Ligt is enjoying arguably the best spell of his United career at present.

The towering Dutchman continues to go from strength to strength at the back for the Reds, and was pivotal in keeping a vital shutout against the Black Cats to begin October. What followed was an equally impressive display at Anfield, as the ex-Bayern Munich man kept the likes of Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Mohamed Salah quiet to help Amorim's men earn a first win on Merseyside since 2016.

Add to that another win and another strong showing against Brighton last time out, Matthijs is really coming into his own this term and, again, is another valued addition to the list this month.

MATHEUS CUNHA 2 (1) apps / 1 goal

I share my delight in expressing how good it was to see Matheus Cunha get off the mark against the Seagulls.

The Brazilian is beginning to show his true colours at United, and his delightful footwork and hard-working nature mean it is no surprise the former Wolves man is already a crowd pleaser.

His all-round play is a joy to behold, and you feel as if he almost typifies what it means to wear the badge. Having also picked up large credit for his display on Merseyside, Cunha was exemplary in relieving pressure in the win, as we had to dig deep to beat last year's Premier League champions.

BRYAN MBEUMO - 3 apps / 3 goals / 1 MOTM

Our top scorer this season is wasting no time in settling in to his new surroundings, and goals will help that no end.

An early strike at Anfield set us on our way to victory and Bryan followed that up with another two goals during the win against Fabian Hurzeler's side at the weekend.

Mbeumo's talents were well known at Brentford, but some of the touches and hold-up play he has shown across October mean the Cameroon forward has a solid platform to build on, and is a leading contender to add to the trophy he won in August.
