Manchester United Under-21s will be live in action on MUTV this Friday.

The young Reds travel north to face Middlesbrough in Premier League 2, with the game kicking off at 19:00 GMT. The fixture is being played at Bishop Auckland's Heritage Park.

Due to no Premier League fixture being scheduled for Friday night, the match will be streamed live, globally, on MUTV, and via ManUtd.com and the United App.

Travis Binnion's side played in front of the cameras last Friday too, with the young Reds falling to a 4-2 defeat against Derby County at Leigh Sports Village.

Zach Baumann and Ethan Williams were on the scoresheet for United, but Anthony Weston's brace and goals from Cruz Allen and Adebayo Fapetu meant the Rams edged that one.

Our Under-21s haven't yet met Middlesbrough this term, due to the new format, and just one point separates the sides in the Premier League 2 table. Make sure you don't miss a second of the action by subscribing to MUTV now.

Team news, half-time and full-time updates, images and a match summary will be posted on ManUtd.com and in our app over the course of the evening, with highlights to follow later.
