Manchester United Under-21s will be live in action on MUTV this Friday.

The young Reds travel north to face Middlesbrough in Premier League 2, with the game kicking off at 19:00 GMT. The fixture is being played at Bishop Auckland's Heritage Park.

Due to no Premier League fixture being scheduled for Friday night, the match will be streamed live, globally, on MUTV, and via and the United App.

Travis Binnion's side played in front of the cameras last Friday too, with the young Reds falling to a 4-2 defeat against Derby County at Leigh Sports Village.

Zach Baumann and Ethan Williams were on the scoresheet for United, but Anthony Weston's brace and goals from Cruz Allen and Adebayo Fapetu meant the Rams edged that one.

Our Under-21s haven't yet met Middlesbrough this term, due to the new format, and just one point separates the sides in the Premier League 2 table. Make sure you don't miss a second of the action by subscribing to MUTV now.

Team news, half-time and full-time updates, images and a match summary will be posted on and in our app over the course of the evening, with highlights to follow later.

The young Reds return to the Theatre of Dreams on Friday 12 April, taking on north-west rivals Liverpool. Kick-off is slated for 19:30 BST.

Tickets for the match are available to buy now.

Meanwhile, the postponed Premier League 2 game away to Southampton has been rearranged for Monday 29 April, with a 19:00 BST kick-off. The venue has still to be finalised.
