What do United fans make of our new kit?
The adidas 2021/22 Manchester United home kit dropped earlier today (Thursday).
Inspired by the home strips of the 1960s, it celebrates the Mancunian Way and those that came before us in helping to define the city of Manchester with strength, resilience, passion and confidence.
Reds have been using social media throughout the morning to express their thoughts on our new threads.
Several were especially taken with how neatly it ties in with the retro theme, while still looking modern. Others were keen to point out some of the intricacies of the design, such as those trademark black socks.
Take a look at some of the positive feedback from Facebook below…
Elliott Allman: “Kit looks fantastic. Best home kit in a while. I normally buy the third kit but will be getting the home one this time.”
Matthew James: “I think this looks vintage and classy. Can’t beat simplicity, especially compared to some of the garish, overly complex designs out there.”
Janice Bates: “Love it, just like the kit Bobby Charlton and co used to wear.”
Arthur Silva: “Looks vintage but sharp at the same time. I like this kind of design.”
Callum Gibson: “Best kit we’ve had in years – got a very retro feel to it.”
Pete Newman: “That is one of the best kits United have had in years. Even the socks look outstanding. They have an 80s feel to them.”
Eshi Moothy: “Am in love with the jersey… Sir Bobby Charlton will be extremely happy for this one.”
Sudipta Das: “Beautiful intro. Beautiful kit for the greatest club in the world.”
Thembela Mawelela: “This is the best home kit we’ve had in many a year. Hopefully the team we’ve assembled can be successful in it.”

Kareem Idris: “The kit will look good on them when they win a trophy with it. It’d create good memories that we’ll love to remember.”
Louise Severn: “I actually really like how retro it looks!”
Dennis Tirop: “Such a fantastic shirt. Simple and classy.”
