When do United face our big rivals next season?

Wednesday 16 June 2021 09:00

The fixtures for the 2021/22 Premier League season are here! And, as you may have already learned, United kick off their campaign with a mouthwatering clash against Leeds on the opening weekend.

But when are we set to face our other big rivals – namely Liverpool and Manchester City?

Well, we can reveal that our first meeting with Jurgen Klopp's team is initially scheduled for Saturday 23 October at Old Trafford.

We'll have to wait just a couple more weeks for an encounter with Pep Guardiola's City – the Blues head to M16 on or around 6 November.

We journey to Elland Road for the return game against Leeds on Saturday 19 February with the hope that fans will be able to attend, after the fixture saw an unmemorable 0-0 draw in last season's behind-closed-doors duel.

The following month, we embark on more difficult away trips, as we make the short journey to the Etihad Stadium to face City (5 March) and then Anfield to take on Liverpool (19 March).

Sandwiched between those two trips is a potentially challenging game with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on 12 March.
But what about our other League rivals? When do we come up against Champions League holders Chelsea and their London nemeses Arsenal?

When will supporters get their first chance to visit Tottenham Hotspur's impressive new stadium?
