Premier League confirm transfer window dates

The Premier League has confirmed the dates that the summer and winter transfer windows will run for its clubs in the 2023/24 season.

While there's still business to be taken care of in the current campaign, the picture is beginning to become clearer for next term.

United will secure a top-four place by taking a point from our penultimate league game against Chelsea tomorrow, before a final-day clash with Fulham precedes our all-Manchester FA Cup final meeting with City on 3 June.

The focus is therefore firmly still on this season at Old Trafford, but after it was recently announced that the fixtures for the forthcoming edition of the Premier League are to be released on Thursday 15 June, we now know the transfer window dates.

The summer market will officially open for its clubs on the day before the schedule comes out, on Wednesday 14 June, before closing on Friday 1 September at 23:00 BST.

In the upcoming campaign, the period for mid-season incoming and outgoings will be between Monday 1 January and Thursday 1 February 2024 (23:00 GMT deadline).

The Premier League has explained that the closing dates for both windows were set following discussions with the other major leagues in Europe, who will also follow suit on the concluding timings to ensure harmony.

As always, you will be able to find confirmed news on any potential incomings and outgoings for the Reds as soon as they happen via ManUtd.com and in the United App.
