When is McTominay due back?
Manchester United’s Scott McTominay is due to return to Carrington on Wednesday and could be available for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Rangers, live on MUTV.
The Scotland international may get an outing in the country’s capital as the Scottish Gas Murrayfield encounter kicks off at 16:00 BST.
The homegrown midfielder will be the first of our Euro 2024 participants to rejoin the squad after Steve Clarke’s men exited the tournament at the group stage. Scott did score their only goal in Germany, with his deflected effort in the 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
Denmark duo Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund will be the next to link up with their colleagues, in order to participate at Tour 2024, presented by Snapdragon, in the United States.

“It starts on Wednesday with Scott returning,” manager Erik ten Hag told reporters in Trondheim, after the 1-0 defeat to Rosenborg. “Then, next week, Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen are returning, then they go on the tour.”
