Erik ten Hag’s side will now find out our next opponents for a two-legged semi-final on Wednesday evening, when the draw for the last four takes place.
It will be conducted live on Sky Sports by Jill Scott and Nedum Onuoha, and hosted by Mark Chapman, following the conclusion of the live game between Southampton and Manchester City at St Mary’s Stadium (kick-off 20:00 GMT).
