When will Ole next speak to the media?

Thursday 28 October 2021 14:53

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hold his managerial press conference on Friday, ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League visit to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Norwegian is set to speak to journalists via Zoom and you can watch the media briefing in full, via our usual stream, on MUTV, ManUtd.com and in the Official App.

Our press conference show begins at the usual time of 13:30 BST, running for half an hour, and a presenter will be joined by a United legend in the studio to react to all the main talking points from Ole’s call.

Will Varane be fit enough to play a part at Spurs?

As well as previewing the game, the manager is expected to provide an update on the fitness of defender Raphael Varane, who has missed each of our last three games in all competitions through injury.

Varane has made seven appearances for United since joining in the summer and fans were given a boost yesterday as he was pictured alongside the rest of the first-team squad, taking part in the training session at Carrington.

Also on Friday, Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to face the media before what is a huge fixture for his side too.

Spurs began the season in great form, winning each of their first three games, but have lost four of the last six in the league, including Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to London rivals West Ham United.

The Lilywhites secured a berth in the Carabao Cup quarter-final with a narrow victory over Burnley on Wednesday night.

Spanish winger Bryan Gil departed the pitch early through injury and Nuno could confirm whether or not he’ll join Ryan Sessegnon on the sidelines.

You can make your Predictions for Spurs v United now.
