When will the summer transfer window open?

With the end of the 2020/21 season drawing ever closer, some fans will inevitably start thinking about the summer transfer market.

As is the case every year, Manchester United are being linked with a ridiculous amount of players, in all positions, currently operating at other clubs around the world.

Only a select number, of course, do get to sign on the dotted line and join the club.

The 2021 close-season window is due to open on 9 June, two days before Euro 2020 gets under way when Turkey take on Italy.

It will shut at 23:00 BST on 31 August, after the new Premier League season is scheduled to commence on 14 August.

We provided a handy guide to our previous incomings and outgoings in recent seasons and will keep you updated with any official movement throughout the summer.

Amad is our latest arrival after coming to the club in January from Atalanta, while Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles, Facundo Pellistri and Edinson Cavani all joined in the summer of 2020.
