In addition to United, 25 other teams have already booked their place, with more to be rubberstamped over the coming weeks and months...

ENGLAND

All four participants have been confirmed, with United joining Premier League champions Manchester City, runners-up Arsenal and Newcastle United – qualifying for the first time since 2002/03 – in next term’s group stage.

Erik ten Hag's men have secured a top-four finish and a place in Europe's elite competition next season.

FRANCE

Paris Saint-Germain have won the Ligue 1 title for the second successive season and a record 11th time in total, sealing their spot in Europe’s elite club competition. Runners-up Lens have made it to the group stage for the first time since 2003, with third-placed Marseille having to enter the qualifying rounds.

GERMANY

The Bundesliga decided its champions on a dramatic final day, as Borussia Dortmund could only draw at home to Mainz, leaving the door open for Bayern Munich to extend their dominance in Germany with an 11th straight crown. RB Leipzig finished third, while Union Berlin will be new names in the competition next season. The capital club only gained promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time in 2019 but can now look forward to mixing it with Europe's elite.

ITALY

Napoli’s first Serie A crown in 33 years guarantees them a place in pot 1 of the draw, while Lazio will return to the competition for only the second time since 2008. Internazionale and AC Milan have also qualified, with Juventus dropping out of the top-four spots due to their 10-point deduction.

SPAIN

United knocked Barcelona out of the Europa League earlier this season, but next term they will be potential Champions League opponents following their La Liga title success under Xavi. Despite a disappointing campaign in the league, Real Madrid will be involved in the tournament for the 27th consecutive year, while Atletico Madrid recovered from a poor start to seal a top-four position. The remaining spot went to Real Sociedad, who we also met in Europe during 2022/23.

Sevilla may have only finished 12th in La Liga, but they have wrapped up a spot in next season's Champions League by virtue of winning the Europa League for a record-extending seventh time.
