United celebrate.

Who was United's Man of the Match?

Manchester United signed off for the home season with a resounding 3-0 win over Brentford on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Reds led through an early Bruno Fernandes effort and looked to have doubled the lead before the break, only for Cristiano Ronaldo's goal to be ruled out by VAR for a marginal offside call.

Ronaldo was not to be denied, however, and scored from the spot after Rico Henry bundled him over inside the box. Raphael Varane then got in on the act to add a deflected third.

Who gets your vote as Man of the Match after the win over Brentford?

Of course, there were a number of excellent performers in the red shirt as United completed the double over the south-west Londoners.

Ronaldo, our newly crowned Player of the Month, started May in the same barnstorming manner and was the runaway winner, as he was in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last time out.

The Portugal international polled 57 per cent of the vote to finish well clear of his team-mates.

Juan Mata, who earned a warm ovation when being replaced, logged 22 per cent in his first Premier League start this term, after a tidy and effective performance in the heart of the midfield.

Fernandes, one of the men alongside him, edged third spot ahead of Varane after a captain's display.

Thank you to everybody who voted!
